Design

Located on the ground floor of a dual storey commercial building in The Junction Village, the low first floor slab height and structural steel support beams, proved a challenge for the design. In a bid to not sacrifice ceiling heights and maintain the luxurious feel of the clinic, the walls and bulkheads were strategically placed to conceal mechanical units and duct work. 

Careful planning and management of the build ensured the adjoining tenancies were not disrupted during their day-to-day trading. Access to the tenancy was via a public shared walkway, which meant there was limited space for material storage on the site and required strategically arranged material deliveries to ensure public safety whilst moving to and from the site.

The project involved the complete overhaul of the existing office space, transforming it into a modern and functional workspace that features unique design elements and high-quality finishes. The open plan workstations are complemented by a combination of small focus rooms and open collaboration spaces, providing employees with both privacy and flexibility. The large staff breakout area is a standout feature, complete with a custom-designed table tennis table and a rock-climbing wall, providing a fun and interactive space for employees to unwind.

We kept the colour scheme of the space natural and textural, which paired seamlessly with the caramel tone timber joinery, display cabinets, stone concierge desk and gallery wall in a modern Reception space.

Included in the fit out were some unique and functional components, including a luxe End Of Trip facility, a feature wall disguising luggage storage for visiting clients and a flexible boardroom space, suitable for both formal meetings and casual seating. In addition, the fit out encompassed a large kitchen and breakout area, six executive offices, an employee lounge, internal meeting rooms and a classic, modern, open-plan workspace. 

We were engaged to undertake the design, construction and joinery components of this new fitout, which encompassed the following spaces, concierge-style reception and waiting area, client meeting rooms, a quiet spaces/lounge areas, an open plan workspace and staff breakout space.
