The 18-week renovation project aimed to showcase our ability across all three sectors of the company - design, construction, and joinery.

The project involved the complete overhaul of the existing office space, transforming it into a modern and functional workspace that features unique design elements and high-quality finishes. The open plan workstations are complemented by a combination of small focus rooms and open collaboration spaces, providing employees with both privacy and flexibility. The large staff breakout area is a standout feature, complete with a custom-designed table tennis table and a rock-climbing wall, providing a fun and interactive space for employees to unwind.

The use of special materials such as steel windows, charred timber, fluted glass, and fenix joinery panels created a distinct aesthetic, while the use of high-quality materials such as Cosentino Sensa Sant Angelo stone for the kitchen benchtop, Milliken carpet tiles, and Signature floors LVT added durability and longevity to the design.

Our design and construct team oversaw the entire project, ensuring that the vision was met to perfection. They were supported by a range of subcontractors who provided specialised services to bring the project to life. The project included a stunning mural, created by talented artist Brett Piva, adding a touch of artistry to the space, and a moss wall to add texture and a welcoming backdrop to the entry stair.

The finished result is a testament to Skelcon's commitment to quality, innovation, and creativity, and the team is thrilled with the outcome. The flexible materials library, which doubles as a client presentation space, is a unique addition that provides clients with a glimpse into Skelcon's capabilities.
