One of our latest projects, completed just prior Christmas is this functional, corporate design and construct project for Mcgregor finance group in The Junction.

The brief was to create spaces that carried both commercial and residential attributes in their look and feel. It was important to the client that the space feel inviting, so in place of a reception desk, we designed a dedicated greeting area, featuring chairs and a lounge to bring a sense of comfort to customers upon entry.
The open plan workspace and dining/meeting area are separated by a heavy, velvet curtain, allowing for optimal flexibility of the space. A unique kitchen design offers an integrated layout, opening into the large dining/meeting table which will be used for collaboration and events.
Above all the functional, free-flowing spaces that make this office fit out so personalised, the highlight of this project for Skelcon has been the custom Blackbutt timber-glazed doors and frames. The pre-Christmas lead-times meant that, to achieve the design intent of these elements, Skelcon would have to custom build the frames and entry door in house. They are a standout feature of the entire project and we are so thrilled with the result.
