Undertaking construction works within an existing commercial premises presents a delicate working environment where sensitivities need to be managed adjacent to the main project brief. This was the situation with the construction of the new end of trip facilities to 26 Honeysuckle Dr commercial building and foyer refurbishments at both 26 & 28 Honeysuckle Dr.

With 7 levels of commercial office space and home to 5 high profile tenants, including Sparke Helmore, Newcastle Herald and AFP, Skelcon undertook the works, mindful to avoid interruptions to the employees and clients accessing the office spaces. The project encountered a number of latent conditions and site issues, all of which were managed efficiently and effectively and the project continued to be delivered on time and to budget.

Delivering a high quality end-product and a functional, user-friendly space, the clients were exceptionally pleased with the overall outcome of the projects and re-engaged Skelcon to undertake additional works within the buildings.
